A jar of Alka Salts Lemon on a blue stage

Drink your minerals.

Alka Salts is a lemon-flavored mineral blend you stir into water. Linda Gonino made it to help your body buffer the acidity of a busy life.

Modern life runs acidic.

Morning coffee, a cross-country flight, wine with dinner, a week of deadlines. It adds up.

Minerals rise to meet it.

Calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium, blended to help your body buffer acidity and hold its balance.

Half a teaspoon. A glass of water. Every night.

Your body keeps its balance in a narrow band.

Blood pH stays between 7.35 and 7.45, and your body works around the clock to hold it there. Alkaline minerals are part of how it does that.

Coffee, alcohol, sugar, flights, stress and short nights all lean on those reserves. Alka Salts is Linda’s way of topping them back up.

Before bed. The family’s nightly glass.

  • A man relaxing on a sunny terrace with a glass of lemon water

After a flight. Travel days are a big one.

  • After the second glass of wine.

  • A woman sitting on a yoga mat drinking lemon water by a window with a sea view

After a workout. Put back what you sweat out.

  • A jar of Alka Salts beside a glass of water and a lemon on a sunlit kitchen counter

On a three-coffee morning. A glass of minerals between cups.

  • In the middle of a week that won’t let up.

  • Alka Salts being spooned into a glass of lemon water on a seaside terrace

On vacation, too. The jar travels well.

  • Two jars of Alka Salts, a glass of sparkling lemon water and a calendar with checked-off days

Every day. It works best as a habit.

A family formula, now in a jar.

Alka Salts is Linda Gonino’s formula.

Linda has spent years in the wellness world, including hosting detox and yoga retreats on Croatia’s Adriatic coast. This lemon mineral blend was a staple in her family long before it had a label. Now it’s in a jar for the rest of us.

I take my Alka Salts right before I go to bed, and I wake up and I’m like, oh, I’m lighter.

Allie Gonino, Linda’s daughter

Alka Salts have been a nightly regimen for years in my household.
